1. Hear red dirt musicians Greg Jacobs with Travis Linville, Terry Ware and John Fullbright at 8 p.m. Friday at the Blue Door, 2805 N McKinley. Information: 524-0738 or www.bluedoorokc.com.
2. See the top dogs at the 2011 OKC Summer Classic Dog Show, hosted by the Oklahoma City Kennel Club and Mid-Del-Tinker Kennel Club. The event continues from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Sunday at the Cox Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens. Information: www.okcsummerclassic.com.
3. Watch Carpenter Square Theatre’s production of the comedy “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Bricktown Central Plaza Hotel & Convention Center, 2001 E Reno. Information: www.carpentersquare.com.
4. View new art during the monthly Paseo Gallery Walk in the Paseo Arts District, from NW 30 and Dewey Avenue to NW 28 and Walker Avenue. Hours are 6 to 10 tonight and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. Information: 525-2688 or www.thepaseo.com.
5. Laugh aloud at OKC Improv’s Stand-Up Showcase, hosted by BradChad Porter and featuring James Curtis, Ryan Drake, Dan Skaggs and Leah Kayajanian, at 10 p.m. Saturday at Ghostlight Theatre Club, 3110 N Walker. Saturday’s 8 p.m. show will feature the improv troupes The Laughing Stocks, Twinprov-ing the World and Fortune’s Fools. Information: www.okcimprov.com.
