Justin Bieber is one of the most fascinating celebrities today. Obviously, the 17 year-old is so appallingly famous that his every move is stalked by paparazzi and hoards of teen girls alike, but there really seems to be more to him than meets the eye.

2011 was all about growth for the Biebs. He dealt with his first huge paternity scandal, after some random girl from the Valley accused him of being her baby daddy, and his relationship with fellow teenybopper Selena Gomez was thrust into the spotlight. We saw a different side of the Canadian native, and this was certainly reflected in his sometimes bizarre style choices.

He seems to pull just about everything off, but his taste has definitely bordered on questionable this year.

ATLANTA – This is the season of giving.

“It’s going to be fantastic,” said Tad Hutcheson, a vice president at Delta Air Lines. “It’s going to be a great Christmas for the kids.”

For 30 years, Delta employees have embraced the children of Christian City and taken them under their wing.

“These are kids that don’t, for various reasons, don’t have a home of their own,” said Christian City President and CEO Bob Crutchfield. “These are kids that we would consider abused or abandoned. You cannot imagine the life experiences that they’ve had.”

***Watch out! This column contains season two spoilers! The spoiler-y section is marked as such.***

Robert Kirkman’s is one of a select group of non-superhero comics I read. I started when someone lent me the first two hardcovers in the series and while it was torture waiting for the next one of those to come out, I knew because of the subject matter, I couldn’t read the series issue by issue. I’m currently up to book five, and for the most part I’m enjoying the adaptation on AMC.

Having read the source material of something that is set to be or currently being adapted is a tough spot to be in as a fan. Part of

While Jay-Z is undeniably one of my favorite rappers of all time, he also has an insane knack for braggadocio and conspicuous consumption. That’s not to say it’s anyone‘s place to judge him considering he’s also a self-made mogul.

However, many are getting fed up. Perfect example: there was intense backlash after it was revealed that his “Occupy All Street” t-shirts did not benefit the movement, but merely were going into the already deep pockets of his Gucci tuxedo pants.

Now to drive home the point even further, Daniel Edwards, a successful sculptor who frequently creates celebrity-inspired work, has created a piece featuring Jay with large dollar-sign bling around his neck and busts of Mr.

CARROLLTON, Ga. — The hunt is on for a missing high-altitude balloon and its payload, which dropped to earth possibly in Metro Atlanta nearly two weeks ago.

“We did tape a note on it,” said the amateur astronaut, Blake Raab, who helped launch it, “it says it’s a harmless science experiment, if you find it please call.”

Raab and other space-flight enthusiasts launched the balloon in Carrollton on November 6th.

Their plan — map the balloon’s flight, on-line and in real time, using the telemetry equipment attached to the balloon, as cameras on board take pictures. Then when it all parachutes to the ground, retrieve the cameras and the pictures and the rest of the gear.

‘Rama Rating: 7 out of 10 (pilot only reviewed)

It takes a certain amount of guts to call a show Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

Sure, it’s an animated series, and it stars Green Lantern, so on one hand, yeah, what else are you going to call it? But it definitely evokes another DC Comics-based cartoon— , one of the most celebrated comic book adaptations in any medium, be it animated, live-action, TV, movie or ViewMaster reel.

Nearly 20 years after the debut of that show, it certainly seems that Warner Bros. i
