Marvel TV’s latest animated series, Ultimate Spider-Man, debuts with a one-hour premiere this Sunday, April 1, at 11 a.m. on Disney XD. Serving as supervising producers on the show is the “Man of Action” team of Joe Kelly, Steven T. Seagle, Joe Casey and Duncan Rouleau. They’ve been rather successful with animation in the past — creating and — and all four have years of experience in the comic book world. Newsarama talked with Kelly (, ) and Seagle (, ) on the floor at WonderCon in Anaheim earlier this month, to hear about how they’ve applied their unique level of experience and expertise to the program.

ATLANTA – Probably all of us have pieces of our family history stashed away somewhere — a cabinet, a box in the basement, a chest in the attic. But what if those items could unlock a little known but important era of American history?
Well that’s exactly the start of a stunning new exhibit now showing at The Breman Museum in Atlanta.
It features intricately carved stone and wood, painstakingly precise paintings and embroidery, one-of-a-kind artistry from the hands of Japanese-Americans forced into U.S. internment camps during World War II.
San Francisco-based author Delphine Hirasuna’s inspiration for the exhibit came unexpectedly after going through her deceased mother’s belongings and finding a small bird pin. <

With the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series debuting soon, the network held a press junket Tuesday morning in Burbank, Calif. Newsarama was there, and talked one-on-two with Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel TV, and Joe Quesada, Marvel chief creative officer.
Ultimate Spider-Man uses the comic book as a launching point — Brian Michael Bendis is a consulting producer and writer on the series — while also incorporating elements from different eras and new twists; like Peter Parker working with fellow teen heroes Power Man, Iron Fist, White Tiger and Nova. Today is an exciting day for Nick Lachey and his wifey Vanessa Lachey . The couple, who dated for years before getting married in a televised destination ceremony this past July, have announced that they are expecting a baby.
Nick announced it today while co-hosting Live! With Kelly, stating that she is due in late summer or early fall. Nick is absolutely ecstatic and exclaimed, “I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to.

MABLETON, GA – Rick Newman isn’t afraid to crack a few eggs around the kitchen. But as an admitted gadget freak, he’s always looking for a better way.
So when the Nostalgia Electrics Egg ‘N Muffin Toaster caught his eye – he immediately thought of us.
“This thing just looked cool,” he said.
In addition to toasting bread – you can flip down one side to reveal a small griddle to cook your eggs and meat.
Rick thinks this $30 appliance might be perfect for a college kid or urban single.
“We’ll see how this goes,” he said as he got started.
The cooking surface is too small to fit a strip of bacon – a couple of sausage patties and a fried egg is the best Rick can do.
