Could Bill Murray make a stop in the University District tonight?
A party to be held at 8 p.m. in Kobo, 2590 N. High St., will – as shadowy instructions dictate – offer alcohol and karaoke to herald the impromptu arrival of actor-turned-hipster-icon Bill Murray.
Part of a nationwide tour dubbed “Bill Murray Can Crash Here,” the 29-city tour appeared July 9 on the humor website SuperOfficialNews.com. It stated that the 61-year-old Ghostbusters comic actor, most recently of Wes Anderson mainstream-indie flicks such as Moonrise Kingdom, was seeking to “take a vacation around the United States” and would patronize gatherings that welcomed him with the above provisions and a sign welcoming his arrival.

After hosting several of CMT’s “redneck”-themed reality shows such as My Big Redneck Wedding and My Big Redneck Vacation , Tom Arnold (Roseanne, True Lies) is moving on to a darker side of lowbrow: Redneck Rehab.
Arnold was spotted with his film crew near the Ohio Statehouse in Downtown Columbus today while shooting an episode for the show. He stopped to sign autographs and take photos with bystanders in between takes.
Redneck Rehab also filmed recently in Evansville, Ind., where Arnold told 14 WFIE that in the new series, he and his crew respond to video submissions from people asking for help with family dilemmas. <

Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games, The Kids Are All Right) is auctioning off five seats to a Cincinnati-area dinner with him on Saturday, August 18. Proceeds from the auctions will go to support a high schooler at his alma mater who was recently paralyzed in a car wreck.
According to the Facebook event for Hutcherson’s fundraiser, Abby Marsh played soccer at Larry A. Ryle High School in Union, Ky. On May 22, she was involved in a car accident that left her paralyzed from the shoulders down.
As of 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 7, the lowest bid for any of the five dinner spots is $600, so Hutcherson fans should be prepared to open their wallets wide if they want the chance to dine with him.

Sixteen-year-old fashion prodigy Tavi Gevinson, who was a special guest at New York Fashion Week by age 13, stopped in Columbus this week with her cohorts from Rookie Magazine, the webzine she founded at 15.
Sponsored by Urban Outfitters and the Ardorous, the writers are on a cross-country road trip to meet with their fans to “do stuff like get ice cream and make zines and talk about our feelings and reenact the heart-to-heart in The Breakfast Club and also brainwash you all into becoming our friends…”
While in Columbus, the girls chilled at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, had pizza and Shirley Temples at Harvest Pizzeria, freaked out over Livingston United Methodist Church’s night-time silhouette of Jesus, and had a photo shoot in front of Dispatch digital news editor Kelly Lecker’s house (in photo above; Instagram photo from ).
